1. Scope and developer
This policy explains how Yesterday Wardrobe (English name: Yestora, the “Service”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information about you. Using the Service means you understand this policy.
The Service is developed and operated by Emma Kao (brand / app: Yesterday Wardrobe, Yestora). The App Store developer name may appear as the legal name HUNG LIN KAO, who is the same person. Privacy contact: yestora.app@gmail.com.
If this policy differs from the terms of an app store or a sign-in / payment provider, that provider’s terms govern the parts they process.
2. Data we collect
Account information: When you sign in with Google or Apple, we may receive your display name, email, and avatar (provided by the sign-in provider).
Wardrobe and outfit data: Photos, categories, tags, notes, outfits, and related settings you upload or create.
Location: With your permission, we may use approximate or precise location only to look up local weather and suggest outfits. You can deny or turn off location in system settings.
Device permissions: With your permission, we may use the camera to photograph clothes, read the photo library to pick photos, or save beautified photos to the library. We do not access these without permission.
Subscriptions and purchases: If you buy a subscription or AI top-up, the store and subscription management service may process transaction identifiers, purchase status, and entitlements. We may receive Pro status, remaining credits, and similar state needed to unlock features. Sensitive payment details such as full card numbers are handled by Apple, Google, or their processors; we do not store full credit-card data.
AI content: When you use one-tap beautify or similar AI features, the clothing image you provide and information needed to produce the result may be sent to complete that request.
Usage and diagnostics: To keep the Service stable, we may log basic activity, device type, app version, and error information.
3. How we use data
To provide sign-in, wardrobe management, outfit suggestions, weather, AI beautify, subscription / top-up entitlement checks, purchase-status reporting needed for refund review, and customer support.
To keep the Service secure, fix issues, and improve the experience.
To process data when required by law, to enforce the Terms, or to protect users and the public.
We do not sell your personal data. The Service also does not sell your personal data to third parties for money.
4. Storage, security, and retention
Wardrobe data (including photos) is stored primarily on your device so you can use it offline and day to day. The Service does not currently offer automatic cloud sync backup.
Please use in-app “Export wardrobe backup” regularly. Back up before deleting the app, switching phones, or clearing data.
If you use features that need a network (sign-in, weather, subscription sync, or AI), related requests may go through our servers or third parties, limited to what that feature needs.
In transit: When data moves between your device and our servers or necessary third parties, we use encrypted connections (HTTPS / TLS).
Request data temporarily stored or processed on our servers is kept only as long as needed to complete the feature, debug, meet security needs, and meet legal duties—not as an unrelated long-term archive.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures for data we handle, but cannot guarantee absolute security, and do not guarantee that on-device data will never be lost.
5. Third-party services
Sign-in: Google, Apple (sign-in verification).
Distribution and payments: Google Play, App Store (download, subscriptions, in-app purchases, and refunds).
Entitlements: We may use RevenueCat or similar to sync subscription / in-app purchase status and unlock features. If you request a refund, we may provide Apple / Google, through that service, necessary information such as whether the top-up was used, so the store can review the refund (using in-app purchases means you agree to this sharing).
Weather: After location permission, we may send coordinates to a weather provider (for example Open-Meteo) for a forecast.
AI: If you use AI features, clothing images and other necessary content may be sent via our servers to an AI provider (for example Google Gemini related services) to produce beautify or analysis results, limited to providing that feature.
6. Cross-border transfers
Some third-party servers may be outside the country or region where you are. Your data may then be transferred and processed under that provider’s privacy policy and applicable law.
We only do this to the extent needed to provide the feature.
7. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age required by local law), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child provided personal data to us, contact us and we will help handle and delete it.
8. Your rights and account deletion
You can view or edit wardrobe and personal settings in the app, and you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold (on-device data can be deleted on the device or by uninstalling the app).
Delete account (in app): Go to Profile and choose “Delete account and all data”. This clears the local wardrobe, preferences, and sign-in state.
Delete account (web): If you cannot use the app, use our public deletion page: https://yestora.app/delete-account.en.html , or email yestora.app@gmail.com (subject “Delete account” and include the email you sign in with).
After deletion we will reasonably delete or de-identify server-side data related to your account that we control (such as sign-in / entitlement records). We will not merely freeze the account.
We may briefly retain some records where needed for legal duties, disputes, fraud prevention, or security investigations (for example transaction / entitlement audit information); after that period we delete or de-identify them. Wardrobe photos that exist only on your device must be removed by deleting the account in the app, clearing app data, or uninstalling.
Data held by third parties (such as Google, Apple, or RevenueCat) must be managed or deleted through their processes. Cancel store subscriptions in Google Play / App Store account settings.
For help, use in-app Support email or yestora.app@gmail.com.
9. Policy updates
We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted in the app and on this public page, with a new “Last updated” date. Please check the latest version periodically.
For material changes, we will reasonably notify you in the app or another way.
